Our classmate John Howard passed away on September 11, 2023. RIP John.

Post note:  While we did not host the planned golf tournament in 2023, we are still receiving continuous donations to the fund at the school for the the annual scholarship going forward.  Ben is also initiating requests for local businesses and other fund raising ideas.  More to come!

Class of 1982,

I am writing this to inform everyone that I have initiated a scholarship award on behalf of the Class of 1982.  It will be called the "FP Class of 1982 Perseverance Award."  

This award will go to a graduating senior who has overcome hardship during his or her school years.  Examples are death in a family, illness, disability, and any other situation that caused significant struggle to the student.  That qualifying student must graduate and plan to go on to higher education, which could be military, vocational school or college.

An example this year of a student who would have been a candidate for this scholarship was an FP student who while in 9th grade was in a terrible automobile accident.  Her father was killed, and she was badly injured.  After numerous surgeries, she came back to school and persevered to overcome this tragedy and is going on to college.  This is just one instance of an FP student demonstrating Perseverance.

I presented this idea on October 5, 2022, to the Fabius-Pompey High School Principal, and it was received with great excitement.  He was very receptive.  There are many things we need to do to get this set in place, but I am sure it will be done by graduation of 2023.

I will let everyone know the progress of this and how we can plan on funding this scholarship in the near future.

Great night last night at Heritage Hill and good to see everyone at the Cafe'.

Looking forward to today and after the dinner ends at The View there will be a gathering at Palladino Pond which is about 1 mile North of Pompey on Rt 91 just past Pompey Country Club on the right hand side. Look for class sign and join us for drinks, a bonfire and good conversations.

Hello All!

Sorry I could not make it this weekend. Originally Bill and I were scheduled to be at the Grand Canyon for our 35 wedding anniversary. Sadly with the price of gas we cancelled that and then had a family situation come up that brought us back to Rochester two weeks ago.

I am still working as a social worker in Florida in the dialysis field. I have two beautiful children Jack (33) Megan (30) and a wonderful son in law Joe (42).  Feeling my age most days!!!

I have not lost my love for photography still having fun behind the camera.

I hope everyone is well! Have been enjoying these pictures and wish I could have seen you all in person

Hello everyone!  I am looking so forward to the upcoming reunion.  Having connected with some of you during the Zoom meetings has truly been a memorable event. It was so very refreshing to me to see that many of you remain friends, after all these years.  Something I did not do a very good job at, but truly love to see in you.  I do pledge, to stay in touch, in the years ahead.
